Students and faculty at Delaware County Community College got a new lease on life Monday with the commencement of the school’s tobacco-free policy.
Use of cigarettes, pipes, cigars and chewing tobacco is no longer permitted anywhere on the Marple campus, inside or outside of buildings, not even at bus stops. The policy also applies at the college’s satellite campuses in Sharon Hill, Upper Darby and Chester County.
