TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - Smokers – put away your cigarettes if you’re headed to the fairgrounds. The Tippecanoe County 4-H Fair will be tobacco-free this year.
The county's 4-H Exhibition Association voted to make all tobacco use prohibited at the week-long fair.
It's part of a joint effort with the Tobacco-Free Partnership of Tippecanoe County to encourage more families to come and enjoy the festivities. Signs will be posted throughout the grounds to remind fair-goers about the new policy.
