CF looks to clear the air; Proposal gets tough on tobacco
All across the College of Central Florida campus, especially in front of the Clifford B. Stearns Learning Center, dozens and dozens of cigarette butts can be found crushed on sidewalks.
They are leftovers from cigarettes smoked by students and faculty members during breaks. These butts can be seen just over a short wall next to a "CF Clean Air Act" sign behind the Science & Technology building.
The signs states: "Please no smoking in the breezeway, entrances or covered walkways." Just under the sign on the tiled entrance lay several crushed butts.
