Loblaw’s Gets Tobacco Sale Ban
The Loblaws Superstore in west London won’t be allowed to sell tobacco for six months because of repeated sales of tobacco to minors.
The Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care issued the Automatic Prohibition Order for the store at 3040 Wonderland Rd. It went into effect Monday and will last until May 25, 2014.
Automatic Prohibition Orders are issued to retailers convicted multiple times of selling tobacco products to people under the age of 19, within the past five years.
