Tobacco-free helps all on campus

The widespread introduction of tobacco-free college campuses should come as a shock to no one. This is a concept that is almost 15 years in the making. Since 1999, colleges have been widely adopting smoke-free practices on their campuses. The move to a smoke-free campus has especially increased over the past three years. To date, 1,182 campuses are smoke-free and approximately 418 of these are 100 percent tobacco-free.
