PETALING JAYA: Tobacco must be excluded from the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA) as it conflicts with Malaysia’s commitment to an international treaty on tobacco control, said Malaysian Women’s Action for Tobacco Control and Health (MyWatch).
MyWatch adviser Dr Zarihah Mohd Zain pointed out that the objective of a free trade agreement would be to promote trade in the commodities.
