American Heritage Names Tobacco Education & Cessation Crusader Rick Bender to Advisory Boar
LAS VEGAS, NV, Jul 17, 2014 (Marketwired via COMTEX) -- American Heritage International Inc. 'America's Original E-Cig(TM)', ("American Heritage") (otcqb:AHII), today announced the addition of tobacco education & cessation crusader Rick Bender to its Advisory Board. At the age of 26 Rick was diagnosed with cancer as a result of his use of tobacco. In April of 1989 he underwent the first of four major surgeries to remove the cancer. He lost 1/3 of his tongue, 1/2 of his jaw and 25% use of his right arm. Lucky to be alive and still fighting the effect of his tobacco use, Rick has dedicated himself for the last 24 years to preaching against the evils of tobacco use to school age young people and adults all across North America as well as testifying at a Congressional Sub-Committee hearing on the subject.
Bender said on joining the advisory board, "In terms of tobacco use, Electronic Cigarettes are the single biggest agent of change the world has ever seen. I chose to be a part of American Heritage due to the fact that they have made it easy to switch from traditional tobacco products and all of their unhealthy side effects to e-cigs by providing an e-cig that is the most realistic in look, feel and taste. Further, American Heritage is in no way marketing to minors via 'bubble gum' flavors or fancy delivery devices. Their product looks like a cigarette, tastes like a cigarette and feels like a cigarette, yet it is not a traditional cigarette. The fact that they are marketing exclusively to existing tobacco smokers who should stop smoking, but for whatever reasons do not wish to do so, is a huge plus in my book and yet another reason to choose American Heritage."
