Broken Arrow Considering Banning Tobacco at Parks
The City of Broken Arrow is considering banning tobacco use in city parks.
The Department of Recreation, Parks, Cultural Affairs and Tourism is having a public meeting on the issue at 6 p.m. tonight at Central Park Community Center, 1500 S. Main Street,.
The Tobacco Free Coalition for Tulsa County will make a presentation on why they think the city should have tobacco-free parks.
City officials will use feedback from the meeting to consider a new policy or ordinance for restricting tobacco use in parks.
