Schools Cracking Down on E-Cig Use

wtvy.com – 16 de Febrero de 2015 – EEUU

Schools are cracking down on e-cigarette use.

The devices heat a nicotine solution to make a vapor instead of using tobacco.

They're becoming popular among teens and schools say these e-cigs can be used for illegal drugs as well, mostly marijuana.

Many schools have added e cigs into their anti-tobacco policies, punishing students with detention, a letter home, and sometimes a tobacco education class.

But other schools in states like North Carolina, New Jersey, Washington are grouping the devices in with bongs and pipes.

That means students could face long suspensions and even have possession of drug paraphernalia marked on their school record.
