SMOKERS are being banned from using controversial electronic cigarettes in hospitals, schools and council buildings.
An investigation by the Sunday Mail has revealed the majority of Scotland’s health boards and councils now prohibit the use of e-cigarettes, which have been slammed by health experts.
Electronic fags, which produce puffs of vapour and deliver a nicotine hit without tar and toxins, were originally billed as a safe alternative to tobacco and an aid to quitting Smoking.
