Jamaica receives two awards for tobacco laws
KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Jamaica walked away with two awards at the recently concluded fourth Inter American Health Foundation (IAHF) Latin American Conference on Tobacco or Health, held in San Jose, Costa Rica.
The awards were specifically "for protecting the health of all Jamaicans with strong regulations against tobacco" a news release from the Ministry of Health said late Tuesday.
